Comments:
GSH 052-05+023 and GSH 056-06+033 may be related to one another, and both may be part of GSH 049-05+020 (Ehlerova & Palous 2005), which may be Heiles shell GS052-05+25 (Heiles 1979), although Heiles did not identify it as expanding. However our high-resolution data suggest that these are two distinct features.

Kinematic Distances Information
    Kinematic Distance (kpc): 1.7
Allowed Range (kpc): 0.75 to 2.8
    Kinematic Distance 2 (kpc): 8.9
Allowed Range (kpc): 7.8 to 9.9
Inferred Shell Size
    Shell Diameter (pc): 220
Allowed Range (pc): 98 to 370
    Shell Diameter 2 (pc): 1200
Allowed Range (pc): 1000 to 1300
Distance Notes:
Greater distance more likely based on Galactic spiral structure in direction of shell
Inferred shell size plausible in context of extent of Galactic Plane

Expansion Velocity Information
Velocity of Front Wall Vf (km/s): 10
Velocity of Back Wall Vb (km/s): 50
    Expansion Velocity (km/s): 20
Based on raw (not normalized) spectrum.
Back wall estimate may be possibly unrelated gas, or suffer from data quality issues.
    Minimum 'Shell-like' velocity V1 (km/s): 17
    Maximum 'Shell-like' velocity V2 (km/s): 39
Lower Limit on Vexp (km/s): 15 (from Vf and V2)
