Here is the new contract package we have agreed upon:

**TWO guaranteed trips to conferences each year for two years

**$1,000 for software to analyze data

**$10,000 for hardware (i.e., special computer processor and other equipment)

**A nine-month salary at the 61.5 percentile

**Required to teach four summer sessions, none of which count toward your teaching load

**Five-day a week teaching schedule.

Critique:  This was not a bad agreement for a new graduate.  However, there is more to the job than just a salary.  Several issues, such as summer sessions and teaching schedule were never adequately explored.  Perhaps you want to play again.
