Dean Jones says:

"Teaching in the summer is an easy way for you to make money.  Unlike the regular school year, during the summer, we pay "per student" -- so, the greater your enrollment, the greater your pay.  My proposal maintains your income, while accommodating your desire to teach fewer summer sessions. I fail to see a problem."

Your response:

1.  Even though it maintains my income and frees up some time, that is offset by the amount of work I must do during each session.

2.  Can I have a graduate student to help grade tests during the summer?

3.  OK...I didn't realize that I would get the same income.  I accept your offer.
