Research Assistance
There is no Ph.D. program at this school, but there is an MBA program. There are opportunities for graduate students to assist with your research program. It is very important to you to have help with your research program. Research Assistants (RAs) also may assist as you supervise undergraduate research projects (if any).
However, any assistant must be paid. So, you want to negotiate for a part-time (10 hours/week) Research Assistant to help you. This person would earn the standard rate that graduate Research Assistants earn; that is non-negotiable. However, the duration of employment is negotiable.
Will this position be funded for one year? Two years? Or Three years?
Obviously, you want the student funded for the longest period possible.
