Dean Jones says:

"I'm sorry that our offer is not sufficient to meet your requirements... That is the best that I am prepared to offer.  It looks like we will have to hire one of the other qualified candidates.  I wish you well in your search for a good job."

Critique: 

Obviously, this negotiation was not successful.  You apparently "went to the well" one too many times and Dean Jones lost his patience.  It is good to recognize when you have bargaining power -- and when you don't.
