Masters Program in Aquatic Science
In addition to our undergraduate Aquatic Science program, the Department of Biology at UW-L also offers a Masters Degree in Biology with a concentration in Aquatic Sciences. This degree is for individuals interested in pursuing a Aquatic Science career involving teaching or research. It is also designed for those with an interest in preparing for a Ph.D. program. The specialties of our faculty include: Aquatic Plants, Ecosystem Processes, Fish Ecology, Macroinvertebrate Ecology, Large River Ecology, Limnology, Microbial Ecology, Nutrient Cycling, Parasitology, Stream Ecology, Toxicology, Water Quality, Wetland Ecology, and Zooplankton Ecology.
