Dean Jones says:

"Oh Bosh!  EVERY job candidate is unique -- or so they claim!  I believe in paying for outstanding achievement...

In the meantime, here is the contract package I'd like to offer you, based on what I've seen from your resume:

**TWO guaranteed trips to a conference each year for two years

**$2,000 for software to analyze data

**$12,000 for hardware (i.e., special computer processor and other equipment)

**A nine-month salary at the 25th percentile

**Required to teach two summer sessions, none of which count toward your teaching load

**Three-day-a-week teaching schedule.

Your Response:

1.  Perhaps there is something in my resume' you overlooked:  For example, did you notice that I was an officer in my school's Graduate Student Organization?  I could provide a similar service for you here, meeting the needs of graduate students, or, if you prefer, new hires like myself...

2.  Perhaps there is something in my resume' that you overlooked:  For example, did you notice that I have helped with an executive-ed type program?  Perhaps I could provide a similar program for you here.

3.  Perhaps there is something in my resume' that you overlooked:  For example, did you notice that I have seven conference presentations, three peer-reviewed journal publications, and one book chapter?  Perhaps I could involve students and faculty as co-authors in my research here.
