"Looking at your resume' I see that you have had some experience with executive-level consulting.  That is excellent!  I've been wanting our college to get into that market for some time now.  Do you think that you could develop an executive-level training workshop?"

Your Response:

1.  I can certainly do that, but is that the best allocation of my time?  Wouldn't that take away from my own research program?

2.  That sound good.  I too have wanted to do some executive-education programs; shall we split the revenues 50-50?
